Deepest Darkest Seacret II - Master of Disguise, is a performance video which reimagines the erosive relationship between sand and wind as a communication frequency which can be tapped into. The engraving tool in this performance is glass cast from a 3D printed cylindrical waveform of a secret rotating on a rake. The secret was fabricated from the visual waveform of a recording of a whispered secret. As it is rolled in a spiral pattern, the impression of the secret is encoded in the sand similarly to the way that submerged sand naturally records the frequencies of the ocean’s waves and currents.
